Our experienced Hire department can arrange hires on day, week, month or longer basis, mainly in Yorkshire especially in Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Hull, Goole, Selby, Pontefract, Wakefield & Leeds, but can also offer a UK wide service, with fast delivery.
Unforeseen demand can put extra pressure on resources, renting additional equipment to cope with business fluctuations or seasonal demand casual hire, one phone call to our hire department gives you access to our fleet of material handling machines, ranging from counterbalance, warehouse equipment and narrow aisle machines through to heavy industrial plant and distribution tractors.
Subject to a few basic checks trade accounts can be opened very quickly. We accept a wide range of credit cards for casual hire, accessories, parts and operator training transactions.

Forklift Thorough Examination
Under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER 98) and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER 98), a Thorough Examination will assess a truck's mast, chains, carriage, forks, tilt mechanism, overhead guard, steering, seat mountings, tyres and brakes on a yearly basis, or sooner if necessary.
Holding a valid Report of Thorough Examination is a legal requirement for all forklift truck operators, whether it is owned, leased or on hire. Failure to produce this report can lead to prosecution or invalidation of insurance. The report is considered very similar to the MOT system in the motor industry.
Failing to comply could be disastrous: prosecution, invalidation of your insurance or worst of all, a serious accident due to faulty equipment.
Forklift Truck Driver Training
Each year there are over 8000 reported injuries involving fork lift trucks, these are all too often associated with a lack of suitable operator training. These accidents can also result in damage to trucks, buildings, equipment and goods, all of which can affect the profitability of your business.
We provide can provide a comprehensive Driver Training programmes covering all makes and models of forklift and warehouse equipment and can offer courses designed for the complete novice through to refresher and conversion training for experienced operators.
These training packages allow you to fully comply with all of your requirements and obligations under the Health & Safety at work Act.
